Dehradun, Chief Correspondent. As part of the RSS’s centenary year celebrations, Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said at the Cultural Center in Garhi Cantt on Sunday that reservations should continue as long as discrimination exists in society. The constitutional provisions for reservations should be followed. As a result of social awareness, those who have become prosperous by taking advantage of reservations are now beginning to relinquish them.

Bhagwat said that as long as there is social inequality, there will be discrimination. Cases of untouchability are seen in different ways in cities, while discrimination is revealed in different ways in villages. Everyone has the right to freedom and equality. This discrimination can only be eliminated through social harmony. The Sangh is continuously active in this direction. The Sangh does not ask anyone’s caste. He said that even Hindu scriptures have no place for social evils and discrimination.

The country will never experience the same situation as in 1947. The mistakes that happened then will not be repeated again. UCC is for everyone.

Bhagwat said that the Sangh played a significant role in the country’s independence. RSS founder Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar never bowed to the British. He was a core committee member of the Revolutionary Committee in Western India. He was charged with treason. He participated in the movement with Rasbihari Bose, Veer Savarkar, Bandshekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, and Arvind Bose. Later, he founded the Sangh to ensure that conditions like slavery never arose.

no union control

The RSS chief said, “People have the misconception that the RSS controls the BJP. The RSS doesn’t want power, even if the volunteers are in power. Volunteers who go there resign from the RSS. They can do without the RSS.”

It’s better. Bhagwat said that demographic changes and imbalances break nations. We need to balance our demographics. A three-child limit is a safe bet for this. He said that we need to formulate policies to ensure that our population doesn’t become a burden, but rather that it can be utilized
